Skill Building - Volunteer Education

Every Child Deserves a Chance - It's YOU!

Have you signed up for a class? You can get started today!

Idaho Statutes and the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association requires all CASA Volunteers receive at least 30 hours of in-service training before being appointed a case. Our CASA program works diligently to provide you with the knowledge and tools you will need to be successful throughout your experience as a CASA volunteer. Please call or email our Trainer/Recruiter today to start the process. Children are currently waiting for their CASA. Is it you?

There are 3 simple steps to sign up for the CASA in-service trainings.
Step One:
Meet with our recruiter for an interview. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions and share concerns you may have about becoming a CASA Volunteer.
Step Two:
You will be given a CASA Volunteer Application at your interview or download and print here. Complete your application and drop it off at our office or take it with you to your first day of training. We must have the original application.
Step Three:
Contact our office and inform them of the training you will be attending. You will receive a link to the homework you will need to complete before your first class.

In-service trainings are held in person or via Zoom depending on the current Covid- 19 Stage we are in. You will be notified ahead of time of which platform we will be training on.

If at anytime during your CASA in-service training you feel you need additional help, please reach out to your trainer. They will be happy to provide additional time and resources for you to feel comfortable to do your work as a guardian ad litem.

If you're have any trouble accessing the site or downloading or playing any audio or video, please don't hesitate to call Tina (208-735-1177). As always, thank you so much for your dedication and hard work on behalf of the children who have been abused or neglected in our community. We look forward to you joining our CASA family.
